It was truly an honour to work with Allan Tam on the Board of Trustees. Coming into my term as Student Trustee, he was always there and made sure that I could turn to him about anything. He is supportive and reliable. As the year progressed, not only was he a mentor to me but an inspiration. Allan is a man of his words, works hard, treats everyone with the utmost respect, and is very hardworking. He is a family man, often telling me stories of his children. You can simply conclude upon meeting and chatting with Allan that he cares about students and their education. You can tell that he believes in public education. You can tell that he is passionate about improving the education system. He brought a very valuable voice to the Board table, and I am confident that if reelected, he will do just as amazing of a job. I look up to Allan so much and I hope that you put the confidence in him to bring the concerns of parents and students to the Board table in meetings and discussions. He does not disappoint.
